After a lot of umming and aahing, I decided to give Google Adsense a shot, in addition to Google Adwords discussed previously (here and here).
To clarify (in case you care, although I have my doubts…):
Google Adwords: My ad appears on your site (thanks to a freebie test run from Google)
Google Adsense: Your ad appears on my site, and I then make cash when people click it and go buy stuff from you.
Yes? Happiness?
I have seen some truly fascinating (as in: completely random) ads on other sites, when one considers that these ads are selected by keywords in the rest of your writings/text/rubbish.
So I vote for keeping a list of the top arbitrary, random and inappropriate adverts that get punted here. Let’s see what comes of it.
