I have previously complained about just how hideous the Popular Posts widget in this site’s sidebar is (see here, and even note the title above the widget).
So not only is it hideous, but it now has the audacity to occasionally, and rather unexpectedly I might add, throw in a couple of adverts pretending to be a list of MY popular posts. Of course now that I’m having a good bitching session about it it is on its best behaviour – nothing listed there right now but my real posts, no versions 1 through 5 of “Get rid of Spam” and “Click to make Zillions of Dollars” or words to that effect.
At least I think that’s what the ads were – seeing as it’s being all butter-wouldn’t-melt-in-my-mouth angelically well-behaved I can’t actually verify it. Damn you, oh traitorous, yet rather smart, widget.
